New iPhone Appears To Encourage VoIP Traffic
New York,April 22, 2010/VoIPRanks.com/ -- With the new iPhone images and features leaked due to an forgetful engineer, or a well placed marketing strategy, it appears that Apple is going to be encouraging more VoIP traffic with this release. There are several new features that are going make the mobileIP telephony experience much improved.
This next generation iPhone appears to included a front facing camera which will bring video calling to a mobile structure. This will be great for users of VoIP providers such as Skype. Another feature that will create a better environment for mobile VoIP users, is the added secondary microphone. This is used for noise-cancellation, which will reduce unwanted ambient sounds, which in turn will make for a much higher sound quality of voice calls received through VoIP traffic.
Apple's new operating system, OS 4.0, will bring multi-tasking to the new iPhone as well. This will allow users to quickly switch between applications. This feature is going to allow for the phone to run top VoIP solutions in the background while it's users can run the other applications on their phone.
This "lost" iPhone is bringing to light how much influence VoIP is having on the current mobile market. It did not seem too long ago that Apple was blocking new VoIP applications from their phones, but now seem to be designing their new iPhone to encourage it's use. Let's hope this is a sign of great things to come in the mobileIP Telephony market.
